Grotesque, anthropomorphic creature, appearing ageless and primordial. Its body is composed of gnarled, intertwining dark roots, thick moss, and patches of crumbling black earth, giving it a skeletal yet powerful form. Instead of a face, it has a distorted, carved wooden mask-like visage with a permanent, predatory sneer and jagged splinters forming sharp teeth. Its eyes are not natural, but glow with a sickly phosphorescent blue light from deep within the mask. Long, twisted horns made of intertwined dark branches protrude from its head. Its ears are not visible, obscured by the mask and organic growth. Its skin texture is rough bark and crumbling earth. Fingers are replaced by long, razor-sharp, gnarled branches that act as claws.
